Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- able to handle cash register operations accurately as needed
- capable of climbing ladders
- able to scan, handle and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- ability to remain mobile for the full duration of shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- basic knowledge of retail operations including inventory management and sales trends
- ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology devices
- strong work ethic and attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- operate power equipment when certified to move merchandise or store fixtures
- execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up, maintenance, and inventory accuracy
- support guest services including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment tasks such as picking and packing orders
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible
- perform all other duties based on business needs
