Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Teamwork and independent work capability
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to solve guest questions quickly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a helpful and welcoming manner to solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and show appreciation for choosing Target
- Execute daily assigned tasks including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, arranging merchandise, and placing promotional signs
- Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures
- Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed
- Support guest services including back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards
- Perform other duties based on business needs
