Job Duties

  • oversee day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring quality food service and sanitation standards are met
  • supervise management and hourly staff
  • assign and direct daily work responsibilities for staff
  • maintain restaurant equipment and grounds
  • enter inventory into the restaurant's computer system
  • meet budgetary expectations including cost control and profit targets
  • reconcile cash registers at shifts and deposit receipts
  • complete administrative functions and reports
  • maintain records complying with company policies and legal standards
  • enforce staff compliance with policies and laws regarding safety and food handling
  • recruit, interview, select, and hire staff
  • conduct orientation and training for managers and staff
  • perform performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching
  • handle counseling, disciplinary actions, and termination of staff
  • recommend promotions and advancements
  • develop work schedules and approve overtime
  • demonstrate professional attitude and appearance
