Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (supply chain or business degree preferred) with 2 years of relevant compliance experience required
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, candidate must have a high school diploma and at least 6 years of supply chain, logistics, or compliance related experience
- Familiarity with import and export regulations and global trade controls
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to develop and deliver training materials
- Must complete background check and drug screening prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in supply chain or business
- At least 2 years of relevant compliance experience
- Experience with import and export regulations including ITAR and EAR
- Familiarity with customs brokerage, freight forwarding/logistics, or global trade controls
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Experience in developing and delivering training materials
Job Duties
- Conduct periodic logistics audits of ACE/AES filings for accurate export documentation
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of new employees and annual employee trade compliance training
- Collaborate timely and efficiently on trade compliance subject matter with internal and external stakeholders
- Support export license submittals, track export license application status, maintain an export license database to satisfy record-keeping requirements and audits
- Execute weekly audits of returned hardware for proper Harmonized Tariff Codes and correct valuation of duties and taxes
- Work with technical experts to determine export jurisdiction and classification of technology and hardware
- Complete denied party screening and acceptance for international visitors and travel
- Participate in international business meetings to ensure compliance with applicable export policy/license(s) and business policy
