Job Qualifications

  • currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field
  • basic knowledge of pilot plant operations and laboratory equipment
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • willingness to learn and take initiative
  • familiarity with product development processes is a plus

Job Duties

  • gain hands-on experience in a pilot plant using mixers to conduct experiments, processing trials for new and existing Henkel products
  • work closely with pilot plant staff in coordinating with product development and manufacturing sites in scaling new products
  • conducting experiments, processing trials, and performing a variety of technical procedures in the development of new and existing products
  • planning and executing tests of new formulations to ensure products can be manufactured at-scale
  • gathering, analyzing, and evaluating ideas from manufacturing to improve or develop new functionality within materials management or production planning
