Job Requirements

  • EMS dispatch or customer service call center experience preferred
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Emphasis on sales preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Professional phone manner and appearance
  • Ability to adapt and respond appropriately to evolving work demands
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment and basic computer skills
  • Ability to type 25-40 wpm
  • Successful completion of Global Operations Center General Orientation Program
  • Current membership in IAMTCS supported by AirMed
  • Successful completion and currency of Certified Flight Communicator within two years of hire

Job Duties

  • Answering and responding to customer queries and requests
  • Communicating pertinent information to internal departments
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge or accessing current information
  • Participating in initial and ongoing education and training
  • Utilizing customer service skills effectively when interacting with customers
  • Promoting the AirMed membership program and selling memberships
  • Conducting and documenting outbound membership and renewal calls to existing and past members
  • Following company and Medical Operations Department policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Participating in continuous quality improvement programs
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Communicating accurate and current responses tailored to caller needs
  • Representing AirMed professionally to all contacts
  • Acquiring and maintaining necessary job knowledge and skills
