Job Duties

  • Overall management of the global business hotel program
  • Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including the development of business requirements and presentation of recommendations to leadership
  • Develop and implement category strategies that align with overall business goals and drive program optimization
  • Conduct thorough market research, including benchmarking, and analyze spend and compliance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers to negotiate pricing agreements and terms to ensure a competitive advantage
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, leveraging them to achieve business objectives
  • Act as a primary liaison to key stakeholders, including the Citi Hotel Council, Corporate Travel teammates, CSIS and TMC Management
  • Monitor and manage vendors to ensure the hotel program design effectively supports evolving business needs
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Prepare and present regular reviews on category performance to management
  • Optimize Travel Management Company Hotel Desk operations
  • Schedule and conduct regular Supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Coordinate with the Global events team for the Roadshow program and other synergies
  • Lead the development and execution of Hotel Surveys
  • Manage and resolve Priority Escalations
