Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
  • Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Must be able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
  • Able to perform physical demands including climbing ladders, moving in confined spaces, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds
  • Proven effective communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Willingness to maintain accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or college degree preferred
  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
  • 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
  • Previous teaching or training experience preferred
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet programs
  • Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
  • Hold or have held a professional pilot license
  • FAR Part 135 experience preferred
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time preferred
  • Possess unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver flight training in simulators and ground school according to regulatory and customer requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert leading clients through their training
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings professionally
  • Complete administrative duties including training records and activity tracking
  • Create curricula and courseware as needed
  • Qualify as Training Center Evaluator and customer check airman after 1.5 years
  • Provide simulator or classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications
