Job Requirements
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
- Must be able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
- Able to perform physical demands including climbing ladders, moving in confined spaces, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds
- Proven effective communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Willingness to maintain accurate records in compliance with policies and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or college degree preferred
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred
- Proven customer service orientation
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and internet programs
- Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
- Hold or have held a professional pilot license
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time preferred
- Possess unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred
Job Duties
- Deliver flight training in simulators and ground school according to regulatory and customer requirements
- Act as subject matter expert leading clients through their training
- Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings professionally
- Complete administrative duties including training records and activity tracking
- Create curricula and courseware as needed
- Qualify as Training Center Evaluator and customer check airman after 1.5 years
- Provide simulator or classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications
