Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent
  • 2-5 years related job experience
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
  • Ability to sit for 4-6 hours and stand for extended periods
  • Physical dexterity requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Willingness to maintain timely and accurate records
  • Commitment to excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or college degree preferred
  • High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
  • 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
  • Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
  • Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
  • Hold or have held a professional pilots license
  • FAR Part 135 experience preferred
  • 3,000 hours of total flight time preferred
  • Possess an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide simulator and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, and pilot qualifications
  • Conduct thorough pre and post flight simulator briefings according to CAE standards
  • Perform administrative duties including maintaining training records and recommending remedial training
  • Act as a subject matter expert in curriculum and courseware development
  • Lead clients effectively through training sessions
  • Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE and regulatory requirements
