Job Requirements
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent
- 2-5 years related job experience
- Authorized to live and work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency
- Able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
- Ability to sit for 4-6 hours and stand for extended periods
- Physical dexterity requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Willingness to maintain timely and accurate records
- Commitment to excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or college degree preferred
- High school diploma or state issued equivalent required
- 2-5 years of related job-relevant experience
- Previous experience teaching or training others preferred
- Proven customer service orientation
- Authorized to live and work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Able to participate in DOT anti-drug and alcohol testing program
- Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
- Hold or have held a professional pilots license
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- 3,000 hours of total flight time preferred
- Possess an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC type rating preferred
Job Duties
- Provide simulator and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, and pilot qualifications
- Conduct thorough pre and post flight simulator briefings according to CAE standards
- Perform administrative duties including maintaining training records and recommending remedial training
- Act as a subject matter expert in curriculum and courseware development
- Lead clients effectively through training sessions
- Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman after 1.5 years
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE and regulatory requirements
