Job Requirements
- Ability to work a schedule from 4:00 PM to midnight Wednesday through Sunday with flexibility
- Three years of hospitality or supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to clean guest rooms to established housekeeping standards
- Capability to set up and break down event spaces lifting up to 80 pounds safely
- Ability to shovel snow across multiple property areas
- Capacity to respond appropriately and calmly to security issues
- Strong communication skills using various communication tools
- Commitment to live out Glen Eyrie mission and core values
- Ability to enforce guest and staff policies with god-honoring hospitality
Job Qualifications
- Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators
- Mature and sincere walk with Jesus Christ
- Minimum of three years of experience in hospitality or supervisory roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Experience with Workday preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to manage others
- Strong customer care focus
- Excellent decision-making ability
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Work a schedule from 4:00PM-midnight Wednesday-Sunday adaptable to guest needs
- Demonstrate flexibility with varying guest needs and activity
- Provide onsite supervisory presence for guests and staff
- Create opportunities for relational hospitality by welcoming and engaging guests
- Execute guest recovery efforts in collaboration with leadership
- Provide excellent verbal and written communication for continuity with daytime staff
- Ensure safety for staff and guests by proactively addressing concerns
- Coordinate emergency response as necessary
- Escalate issues with discernment to appropriate staff
- Represent The Navigators and Glen Eyrie in all interactions
- Adhere to Glen Eyrie mission and core values
- Perform housekeeping duties according to Glen Eyrie standards
- Set up and break down meeting and event spaces including lifting up to 80 pounds
- Conduct snow removal across the property as needed
- Respond appropriately to security-related issues calmly and responsibly
- Address level 1 facilities issues such as clogged toilets and water shutoff
- Enforce guest and staff policies with god-honoring hospitality
- Communicate effectively using multiple property communication methods
