Job Requirements
- Become a registered member and maintain membership in GSUSA
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 lbs
- Sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to maneuver around event settings including setup, facilitation, and cleanup
- Active participation in Product Sales Initiatives
- Represent GSOFCT in professional Girl Scout attire
- Statewide travel required
- Drive on a regular basis
- Valid Connecticut driver's license
- Proof of liability coverage for personal vehicle
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in education or recreation or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with volunteers and girls
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage staff, volunteers, and girls
Job Duties
- Create varied experiences based on girls' input and available opportunities that encourage leadership skill development
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual operating budget and Plan of Achievement objectives for programming
- Recruit, support, and recognize community partners and program volunteers
- Collaborate with Member Experience department as the Girl Scout Experience Program contact
- Maintain records related to job functions and contribute to reports
- Keep abreast of trends affecting girls and GSUSA initiatives
- Serve as a spokesperson for the Girl Scout Movement and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Perform other duties as assigned
