Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain and retain KRGC Gaming License
- Available to travel within or outside the state as needed
- Basic beverage and beverage serving knowledge
- Ability to dance as choreographed
- Ability to comprehend and learn new dance routines
- Good athletic physical condition and body strength
- Comfortable performing in front of large audiences
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Physically able to stand and move at a fast pace for up to eight hours or longer
- Ability to check IDs and follow Alcohol Awareness techniques
- Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents with discretion
- Willingness to assist new employees with training
Job Qualifications
- Audition required
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have the ability to obtain and retain KRGC Gaming License
- Must be available to travel within or outside the state as needed
- High volume hotel/restaurant experience preferred
- Must be available for publicity shoots, public appearances, modeling, other advertising, and promotional work as needed
- Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
- Must have basic beverage and beverage serving knowledge
- Must be able to dance as choreographed
- Ability to comprehend and learn new dance routines
- Good athletic physical condition/body strength necessary
- Must project a slender, toned/fit body image at all times
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large audiences
- Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley's Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Job Duties
- Greet each guest with a smile and a prompt and friendly greeting
- Converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail orders
- Interact with guests in a pleasant, efficient and professional manner
- Project curated image essential to the entertainment function of the position
- Sell tickets for rides on the bull
- Pour personalized shots during drink promotions
- Provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of service
- Order and serve food and beverage to customers following restaurant/bar guidelines
- Entertain guests by dancing to themed productions
- Continuously learn new choreographed moves
- Prepare, order and serve cocktails to customers following restaurant/bar guidelines
- Garnish drinks as appropriate
- Ensure the correct glassware/stemware is used according to Beverage Department standards
- Handle monetary transactions (cash, credit cards, and other payment options) in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Pick up dirty glasses from assigned station ensuring optimal maintenance of station, keeping clear of beverage debris
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and/or workstation to ensure compliance with beverage and health department standards
- Polish all necessary glassware
- Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels
- Workstation must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift
- Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
- Ensure correct health and sanitation practices are followed
- Check IDs if the guest appears to be under 30
- Follow Alcohol Awareness techniques as needed
- Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns
- Answer telephone using proper telephone etiquette standards
- Assist new employees with training and answering questions
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
- Observe all activity within assigned areas offering assistance to slot players, and instruction on machine functions and payouts
- Observe activity and report anything that is out of the ordinary
- Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel
- Ensure all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions
- Utilize open body language, politely speak with and assist guests as needed
- Assist in maintaining a spotless facility by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left by guests
- Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same
- Empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount
- Otherwise, ensuring a manager is notified immediately to resolve the situation
- Cross train in other F&B areas
