Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification
- one year experience as an endoscopy technologist preferred
- ability to work collaboratively with healthcare team members
- adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- availability for regular and predictable attendance

- knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- ability to perform detailed sterilization and cleaning protocols
Job Duties
- Assist in preparing patient for designated procedure as requested by physician
- assist physician during endoscopy procedure
- handle patient specimens per policy
- accurately complete laboratory slips and culture/path slips as requested
- work collaboratively with healthcare team to prepare endoscopy suite according to patient, physician, and procedure requirements
- assure high level disinfection and/or sterility of instruments and supplies according to policy and procedure
- follow manufacturer instructions for cleaning, high level disinfection, or sterilization of instruments and/or equipment
