Job Requirements
- No education required
- prior restaurant management experience
- availability to work weekends, holidays, and 10-hour shifts
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- ability to handle operational challenges and guest relations
- willingness to work full-time on-site at the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience
- solid understanding of P&L management and restaurant profitability drivers
- ability to prioritize own and others’ workload and time effectively to meet deadlines and goals
- demonstrated leadership skills and guest service principles
- effective communication and team leadership abilities
- experience in recruiting and staff development
Job Duties
- Review P&L to increase restaurant profitability
- drive sales through proactive customer service, people development, and operational management
- motivate and lead team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and timely service in a clean facility
- manage guest experience through operations and timely response to guest issues
- problem-solve guest feedback systems to determine root causes and develop action plans
- identify and engage with the community to involve potential guests and execute local marketing initiatives
- lead recruiting and selection process to build and retain an effective restaurant team
- onboard new team members by training and guiding through certification processes
- inspire the restaurant team through effective individual and team recognition programs
- provide coaching and feedback to all employees to increase team capabilities and performance
- manage restaurant labor using optimal manager staffing and team member scheduling
- ensure the restaurant maintains operational and brand standards
- perform assistant manager and shift coordinator tasks when necessary
