- solid understanding of profit and loss management and drivers of restaurant profitability
- ability to prioritize own and others work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
- demonstrated leadership skills and guest service principles
Job Duties
- review p&l statements to increase restaurant profitability
- drive sales through proactive customer service, people development, and operations management
- motivate and lead team members to exceed guest expectations with friendly, accurate, and timely service in a clean facility
- manage guest experience through operations and timely resolution of guest issues
- troubleshoot guest feedback systems to identify root causes and develop action plans
- identify and engage with the local community to involve potential guests and execute marketing initiatives
- lead restaurant recruitment and selection to build and retain an effective team
- onboard new team members by training and guiding them through certification
- inspire the restaurant team through effective individual and team recognition programs
- provide coaching and feedback to all employees to improve team capabilities and performance
- manage restaurant labor using optimal manager and team member staffing and scheduling
- ensure the restaurant maintains operational and brand standards
- perform assistant manager and hourly shift coordinator tasks as needed
