Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Operate delicatessen equipment according to company guidelines
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Commitment to comply with all safety and regulatory standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication abilities
- Basic math knowledge
- Proficient in computer applications used in department operations
- Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of the delicatessen department
- Promote and maintain customer trust and loyalty through consistent operational standards
- Ensure fresh and attractive product presentation and quality
- Execute marketing plans and monitor sales trends and inventory levels
- Supervise, train, and develop team members
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, pricing, ordering, and inventory control
