Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Operate delicatessen equipment according to company guidelines
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to comply with all safety and regulatory standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication abilities
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Proficient in computer applications used in department operations
  • Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the delicatessen department
  • Promote and maintain customer trust and loyalty through consistent operational standards
  • Ensure fresh and attractive product presentation and quality
  • Execute marketing plans and monitor sales trends and inventory levels
  • Supervise, train, and develop team members
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, pricing, ordering, and inventory control
