Job Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics preferred
- 2 plus years of related experience or sales/demonstration experience
- Completion or ability to complete wine selling and TABC certifications
- Strong food knowledge and passion for food
- Ability to use H-E-B systems and processes
- Ability to stand, reach, lift 60 lbs safely
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, or home economics preferred
- 2 plus years of related food and cooking experience
- Experience in sales, product demonstrations, or professional cooking
- Ability to complete H-E-B Wine selling and TABC certifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of merchandising and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities
Job Duties
- Perform selling activation events in the Cooking Connection kitchen
- Assist in development of recipes targeted to the local customer base
- Engage customers with knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and beverage recommendations
- Conduct cooking demonstrations and food preparation efficiently
- Provide menu and meal planning advice tailored to customers
- Maintain merchandising standards including displays and inventory
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
