Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service
  • experience in restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems (preferred)
  • completion of Alcohol Seller Training / Cash Handling training upon hire
  • function in a fast-paced, retail environment
  • work extended hours and/or rotating schedules
  • safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
  • constantly reach at waist, grasp
  • frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic materials
  • frequently stand, walk
  • frequently be exposed to wet and cold conditions
  • occasionally reach at overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
  • occasionally be exposed to heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
  • demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant Point of Sale (POS) systems (NCR, Aloha, Nirvana, etc.)

Job Duties

  • Builds strong relationships with customers in varying situations
  • takes orders from customers
  • assists with menu and beverage selections, including alcoholic beverages
  • provides detailed information on menu items and specials, and beer and wine
  • serves food, drink, and products to guests
  • processes cash, check, debit, and credit transactions accurately and quickly
  • uses suggestive selling techniques and merchandises effectively to meet guest needs and build department sales
  • interacts positively with customers in person, on the phone, or through technology
  • assists with catering orders as needed
  • addresses complaints
  • resolves problems in a way that builds relationships
  • models teamwork to ensure a great guest experience
  • prepares, packages, merchandises product
  • assists in technical areas as needed
  • ensures compliance with TABC regulations
  • ensures compliance with department and Store standard operating procedures
  • buses and cleans tables
  • performs deep clean of dining, ordering, bar areas, as needed
  • maintains beverage station and bar areas
  • maintains sanitation in food and beverage prep areas and display cases
  • properly handles, operates, and maintains equipment
  • performs other duties as assigned
