Job Requirements
- 1+ years experience working front of house duties, banquet or event work, or related experience
- experience in ordering, inventory management, and shrink control
- comprehensive culinary and food prep knowledge
- working knowledge of food and beverage service
- ability to direct or lead a team
- ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, and weekend shifts
- ability to respond quickly to guest concerns and feedback
- ability to handle guest feedback and resolve problems effectively
- ability to maintain a smile at all times while managing multiple priorities
- business acumen
- culinary degree or equivalent combination of culinary training and experience

Job Duties
- creates and consults on menus based on food knowledge and event specifics
- trains line and prep cooks for catering orders
- ensures compliance with food safety, refrigeration, and sanitation standards
- assists with purchasing and receiving tasks
- prepares contracts, schedules, and financial paperwork
- consults with customers to determine event requirements
- coordinates event services and logistics
- supervises event setup, service, and cleanup
- monitors events to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance
- conducts post-event evaluations
- promotes special event business through advertising and client outreach
- prepares and completes accurate billing and collects payments
