Job Duties
- Create and consult on menus based on food knowledge and event specifics
- Train line and prep cooks for catering orders
- Ensure compliance with food safety, freshness, and sanitation regulations
- Assist with purchasing and receiving tasks
- Prepare paperwork including forms, reports, and schedules
- Manage financial operations and promotional material dissemination
- Consult with customers to determine event requirements
- Obtain event details such as attendance and schedule
- Create quotes, prepare contracts, secure signatures, and collect deposits
- Review and modify event function sheets regularly
- Document final event arrangements and maintain financial records
- Supervise breakdown and cleanup post-event
- Account for equipment and supplies
- Coordinate event-related services and evaluate service providers
- Requisition event equipment and supplies
- Inspect event sites for setup and readiness
- Greet customers and direct staff during events
- Monitor events to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction
- Arrange return of rented materials
- Conduct post-event evaluations
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
