Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- ability to read and understand English
- basic math comprehension
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to pull or push loads up to 70 pounds
- capability for heavy and repetitive lifting
- ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs frequently
- tolerance to work in extreme temperature environments
- ability to work in noisy and crowded settings
- driving capability may be required
- ability to operate facility equipment
- competency in using a personal computer for communication and documentation
- ability to speak, hear and see clearly
- hand-eye coordination for machinery operation
- compliance with company policies including safety procedures
- regular and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- ability to read and understand English
- basic math comprehension
- high school graduate or equivalent certification preferred
- forklift and distribution center equipment experience or certification preferred
Job Duties
- loading, unloading and moving products using appropriate equipment
- performing inventory and delivery documentation
- completing all required paperwork accurately
- performing product rotation in accordance with FIFO or leadership instructions
- maintaining cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area
- counting pallets by layer and tie for accurate inventory
- verifying all loads and ensuring customer orders are complete and accurate
- loading customer orders onto delivery trucks
- handling damaged products, product returns and dunnage
- executing repack procedures as needed
