Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience
  • Basic inventory management skills
  • Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Forklift certifications for all required equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Computer literacy

  • Basic inventory management skills
  • Ability to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Forklift certifications for all required equipment
  • Experience with forklift-mounted computers and barcode scanners (training available on the job)
  • Computer literacy

Job Duties

  • Safely pick, pack, load, and ship orders as required
  • Review and follow special instructions for all pack sets
  • Utilize the Branch Locator system for accurate transactions
  • Receive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers, and vendors
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and good inventory management practices
  • Perform housekeeping and maintenance duties to keep the warehouse and property clean and organized
  • Assist "will call" customers as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and the code of ethics
  • Comply with all safety guidelines and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) practices
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Distribution Center Coordinator
