Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 to 10 hours a day
- must be able to reach repetitively up and out
- must be able to push/pull up to 25 pounds repeatedly and occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds
- must frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced distribution environment
- dependable and flexible when work is required in other production areas
- basic math skills to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
Job Qualifications
- One-year general warehouse or material handler experience preferred but not necessary
- ability to comprehend oral and written communication effectively
- proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, RF and voice-directed picking
- demonstrated ability to meet production standards within required time frames
- ability to demonstrate quality and accuracy in material handling functions
Job Duties
- Communicate well with internal customers and management
- follow detailed instructions and maintain attention to detail
- use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, and scanners
- perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- adhere to all safety policies and procedures and support safety programs
- process inbound and outbound shipments as needed
- move product by hand or manual pallet jack to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery trucks, storage, and order processing areas
