Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 - 2 years of experience preferred in distribution or warehouse settings
  • Ability to safely operate power mobile material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift and move furniture weighing up to 175 pounds without physical limitations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build respectful working relationships

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a distribution and/or warehouse setting preferred
  • Ability to operate equipment at a height potential of 35 ft
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to lift 150lbs with or without accommodations
  • Working knowledge of computer programs
  • Understanding of general work practices in distribution and/or warehousing including unloading, loading, picking, packing, and shipping/receiving processes and procedures
  • Willingness to adjust schedule and hours as needed to accommodate business needs or overtime

Job Duties

  • Operate power mobile material handling equipment to pull and pick items
  • Load furniture into trucks for delivery to hubs, stores, and customer homes
  • Receive shipments, check furniture and accessories shipments, unload, and rack in the distribution center
  • Handle returns from stores and customers and rack into the distribution center
  • Generate paperwork used for movement of merchandise within the distribution center
