Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to stand walk sit kneel use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear regularly
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Must comply with all applicable federal state and local safety and health regulations
  • Ability to work shifts as necessary based on business levels
  • No travel is expected for this position

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms and back-of-the-house employee areas as well as elevator dumpster and receiving area
  • Empty trash cans from dish room kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
  • Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area
  • Keep equipment floor and work areas clean free of slip trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes pots pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently
  • Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items
  • Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine three compartment sink garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems Notify supervisor of any malfunctions
  • Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand
  • Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed
  • Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
