Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Basic vision requirements including close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Willingness to work shifts as necessary based on business levels
  • Ability to comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety and health regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy kitchen environment
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
  • Ability to operate dishwashing machinery and related equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area
  • Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
  • Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area
  • Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently
  • Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items
  • Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems
  • Notify supervisor of any malfunctions
  • Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand
  • Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed
  • Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
