Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cleaning, dishwashing, or a related role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for prolonged periods
- Basic English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Compliance with safety and health regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Partial high school education
- High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred
- Strong sanitation habits
- Strong customer service abilities
- Ability to recognize problems and communicate to management
- Physical ability to move about, bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms above shoulder height frequently
- Ability to stand for entire work day
- Ability to work in wet, slippery, hot, damp, and temperature extreme environments
- Reading and writing work-related documents in English
- Speech clarity and communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cooking supplies using proper sanitation procedures
- Pull trash from trash receptacles
- Replace trash bags as needed
- Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds
- Clean floor area of any spillage of water, detergent and/or food stuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines
- Fill condiments, utensils, and other supplies with stock as needed
- Load and unload inventory from trucks
- Stock storeroom
- Maintain the kitchen, serving, and dining areas in clean and orderly condition by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters and equipment, and organizing shelves
- Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to management
