Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in construction or industrial maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise environments
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed
- Valid driver’s license for operating company vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in aggregate or construction industry preferred
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles preferred
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Mechanical skills with industrial tools and their maintenance
- Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours
- Strong commitment to safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Promote safety in accordance with MSHA and company standards
- Perform various general physical activities including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials
- Assist in servicing, repairing, and adjusting plant equipment
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of equipment and structures
- Operate heavy construction equipment and cleanup loaders to support plant operations
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Complete additional duties as assigned
