Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in aggregate or construction industry preferred
- knowledge of maintenance and repair practices preferred
- mechanical aptitude
- able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- able to work overtime and extended hours
- maintain safety standards according to MSHA and company policies
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry preferred
- knowledge of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production principles preferred
- mechanical skills including knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance
- ability to tolerate exposure to loud noises and work in various weather conditions
- flexibility to work overtime and extended hours as needed
Job Duties
- promote safety in accordance with MSHA and company standards
- perform general physical activities such as using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials
- assist with repair and maintenance of plant equipment
- inspect equipment and structures daily to ensure safe and reliable operations
- operate heavy construction equipment and cleanup loaders
- assist co-workers in servicing and adjusting equipment
- perform other duties as assigned
