Job Requirements

  • must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leadership experience preferred in fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment
  • ability to perform repetitive physical behaviors throughout a shift
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • strong organizational and management skills
  • ability to handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts
  • commitment to upholding company policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • leadership experience in retail, food service, or fuel environment
  • experience selecting, training, and managing staff
  • experience with labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and expense management
  • strong coaching and team development skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of safety and compliance standards

Job Duties

  • maximize store profitability through managing all controllable expenses
  • optimize all revenue streams by leading and developing a high performing team
  • ensure guest and associate satisfaction while exceeding brand standards
  • select, develop, and lead a highly engaged team
  • cultivate a positive shopping experience by responding to guest complaints and soliciting feedback
  • staff the store appropriately to cover business demands
  • allocate resources and delegate work through efficient scheduling
  • conduct and oversee training of all associates
  • create an inclusive store atmosphere promoting respect and engagement
  • recognize and celebrate store associates
  • support associate and management development through talent management processes
  • monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and appraisals
  • ensure safety and operational efficiency standards are met
  • manage compliance with policies, procedures, and safety programs
  • document guest and associate incidents timely
  • lead change initiatives and educate associates
  • meet or exceed key performance metrics and merchandise profit plans
  • maintain financial awareness to achieve profitability
  • monitor cash handling and assist in shortage investigations
  • manage financial plans through report analysis
  • analyze income statements and manage inventory
  • conduct competition surveys
  • resolve audit findings appropriately
  • build community partner relationships
  • perform other duties as assigned
