Job Requirements

  • two years general services related work experience
  • two years real estate experience
  • must possess a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Communicate with motivate train and evaluate employees
  • plan and direct work and recommend employment actions such as hire transfer suspend layoff promote discharge assign and reward or discipline
  • oversee recruitment of staff and develop hiring tools with HR partners
  • provide training and continuous improvement activities for staff
  • manage agency leasing program including planning procurement contracting and management of leased office spaces
  • maintain facility leases in compliance with Florida statutes and Department of Management Services policies
  • assist with building maintenance issues for state-owned facilities
  • manage lease payment systems and provide budget projections
  • act as liaison with Department of Management Services for leasing coordination
  • procure goods and services in compliance with Florida statutes
  • develop and manage project management systems for lease actions and facility projects
  • facilitate interdepartmental interactions related to the leasing program
  • support emergency management to ensure building availability and safety
  • process and route leasing documentation for review approval and execution
  • produce annual lease cost reports and coordinate budget requests
  • track and process tenant broker commission payments
  • serve as facilitator for Facility Leasing Action Committee and lead project management for lease-related initiatives
  • perform other related duties as assigned
