- Two years of general services related work experience
- Two years of real estate experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license

- Experience with building maintenance functions
- General services or facilities experience
- Fixed capital outlay funding and project management experience
- State of Florida Certified Contracts Manager preferred
- Florida Real Estate License possession or prior holding preferred
- Experience in project management execution
- State of Florida procurement experience
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and property management principles
- Understanding of leasing rules under Florida Statutes
- Knowledge of purchasing rules under Florida Statutes
- Proficiency in report development using Microsoft systems
- Effective communication and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
- Problem-solving and independent decision-making skills
- Ability to organize work assignments
Job Duties
- Communicate with, motivate, train and evaluate employees
- Plan and direct work of leasing unit staff
- Recommend staffing actions including hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, promote, discharge, assign, reward or discipline employees
- Oversee recruitment and coordinate with HR for hiring tools
- Manage agency facility leasing program including planning, procurement, contracting and lease administration
- Ensure compliance with Florida Statutes and Department of Management Services policies
- Assist with building maintenance and safety for state-owned regional offices
- Provide budget projections and manage lease payment systems
- Serve as liaison with Department of Management Services
- Manage procurement of goods and services supporting building operations
- Develop and manage project management systems for lease and facility projects
- Facilitate Facility Leasing Action Committee activities
- Coordinate lease documentation and approvals
- Generate and maintain lease data and reports
- Track and process tenant broker commission payments
- Support emergency management related to building safety and continuity of operations
- Interact with leadership at all levels regarding leasing program
- Perform other related duties as assigned
