Job Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous guest service experience at a bakery, restaurant or retail store is a plus
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to comply with health and safety policies and dress code
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems

Job Duties
- Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm
- Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on cake distinctions, sizes, flavors, pricing, promotions, and merchandise
- Suggests additional merchandise like balloons, candles, and cards to complete celebrations
- Processes guest orders efficiently and accurately using point-of-sale system
- Upholds a clean and organized bakery presentation including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning
- Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display cases to maintain visual appeal
- Assists in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines, dress code, and company policies
- Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality
