Job Requirements
- Flexible to work in shifts including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
- Be prepared to stand for a long time and able to use work related tools in a safe manner
- Knowledge of basic work safety, Canadian currencies and essential mathematics
- Relevant experience in handling cash is preferred
- Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) an asset

Job Duties
- Greet customers by providing good customer service with smile and friendly enthusiasm
- Maintain shopping baskets and trolleys cleanliness and ensure they are placed in the proper locations
- Put returning merchandise back to sale area properly and timely processing of fresh and frozen goods
- Provide customer with proper packing services adhering to guidelines such as light items on top of heavy items and separation of hot and cold or raw and cooked goods
- Create good customer experience via delivering fast and accurate checkout service while preventing possible fraud by scanning merchandise accurately and identifying counterfeit or fake cards
- Monitor checkout stations to ensure they are well-kept and working properly
- Keep self-updated with product locations and in-store promotion activities to assist other departments in providing correct responses to customers
