Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Serv Safe training and certificate
  • Prior experience with a POS system
  • 2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to successfully pass a background check including criminal history
  • Compliance with all required training mandated by local, state, and federal laws
  • Maintain effective communication via cell phone, text, phone calls, and emails
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Responsible team player demonstrating punctuality, proper attire, and respect
  • Experience in fast-paced office environments with shifting priorities is a plus
  • Ability to engage in hands-on leadership focused on growth and development
  • Ability to work with and develop diverse groups of people
  • Demonstrate core cultural foundations of energy, engagement, empathy, and execution

Job Duties

  • Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff
  • Conduct performance reviews according to the company's scheduled timeline
  • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff following training plans and company systems
  • Schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate effectively
  • Enforce company policies including compliance with laws and local regulations
  • Immediately report and resolve employee behavior issues violating company policy
  • Foster a safe and inclusive work environment free of harassment and discrimination
  • Greet every guest warmly and promptly
  • Provide exceptional guest experiences, addressing issues with positivity and judgement
  • Regularly walk through the restaurant to monitor guest satisfaction and restaurant condition
  • Stay informed about local market trends to make guest-centric decisions
  • Oversee food safety and other safety protocols including required postings
  • Implement marketing plans and train staff for promotions
  • Use a headset to monitor team interactions, offering praise, coaching, or redirection
  • Address basic equipment maintenance issues
  • Manage labor costs with accurate sales projections and balanced schedules
  • Ensure daily food safety compliance and operational standards
  • Communicate effectively with District Manager and other support teams
  • Ensure food is prepared fresh to order following company recipes
  • Oversee sales transactions and inventory tracking accuracy
  • Manage controllable expenses and inventory orders
  • Maintain positive vendor and internal team relationships
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of equipment and small wares
  • Supervise staff compliance with cash handling and banking policies
  • Verify asset protection system functionality
  • Follow company policies for cash handling to ensure security and accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned
