Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe training and certificate
  • prior experience with a POS system
  • 2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • able to successfully pass a background check including criminal history
  • ensure compliance with all required training mandated by local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • maintain a working cell phone and communicate via text, calls, and emails
  • intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • strong communication and leadership skills with ability to collaborate effectively
  • responsible team player demonstrating punctuality, proper attire, respect for others
  • experience in fast-paced office environment with shifting priorities is a plus
  • engage in hands-on leadership focused on growth and development of people
  • able to coach and develop a diverse group from different backgrounds

Job Duties

  • Provide training and development opportunities for the management team and staff
  • conduct performance reviews according to the company’s scheduled timeline
  • recruit, train, and develop restaurant management and staff following training plans and company systems to meet goals within the designated timeframe
  • schedule regular team and manager meetings to communicate effectively, ensuring all staff are informed of company or policy changes
  • enforce company policies including compliance with laws and local regulations, maintain accurate employee records and submit them on time
  • report any complaints or employee behavior violating company policy to district manager and resolve issues promptly
  • foster a safe, inclusive work environment without tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or retaliation
  • greet every guest warmly and promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • strive to provide exceptional experience for every guest, addressing issues with positivity and sound judgment
  • walk through the restaurant regularly to check on guests and facility conditions
  • stay informed about local market trends and community needs for guest-centric decisions
  • oversee food safety and other safety protocols ensuring required postings are visible
  • implement marketing plans and ensure staff readiness for promotions
  • use headsets to monitor team guest interactions, provide coaching or redirection
  • address basic equipment maintenance issues as they arise
  • manage labor costs through sales projections, schedule creation, and accurate employee payments
  • ensure daily food safety compliance and operational standards are met
  • communicate with district manager, director of operations, and support center to address requests timely
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • ensure food is prepared fresh to order following recipes and accurately recorded in POS
  • oversee sales transactions and inventory tracking systems
  • manage controllable expenses and inventory orders within cost standards
  • establish positive relationships with vendors and internal support teams
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and small wares, address minor equipment issues promptly
  • supervise staff compliance with cash handling and banking policies
  • verify asset protection systems functionality
  • follow cash handling policies to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance
