Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work part-time hours including mid-shift and closing shifts
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as paint mixing and fabric cutting
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers
- Ability to maintain merchandising standards
- Compliance with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic knowledge of merchandise categories related to hobbies and home improvement
- Capability to perform paint mixing and fabric cutting following safety standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including mid-shift and closing
Job Duties
- Greet customers on the sales floor and provide assistance
- Recommend merchandise based on customer wants and needs
- Maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays in proper order throughout the day
- Perform paint mixing tasks as required
- Cut fabric accurately as needed
- Ensure the sales floor is clean and organized
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts
