- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work part-time hours including mid-shift and closing shifts
- capability to perform physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandise organization
- willingness to learn paint mixing and fabric cutting procedures
- compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
- effective communication skills
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
- ability to operate paint mixing and fabric cutting equipment safely
- good communication skills
- ability to work mid-shift or closing shifts
- basic understanding of general merchandise categorization
- strong customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Greet customers on the sales floor
- offer assistance and recommend merchandise based on customer wants and needs
- maintain Hobbies & Home Improvement displays in proper order throughout the day
- perform paint mixing as required
- cut fabric when needed
- ensure merchandise is stocked and organized
- promote a clean and safe work environment
