Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer experience
- assist with customer questions, locating products, product recommendations, and communicating out-of-stock issues or concerns
- bag groceries carefully and efficiently and help customers with loading groceries to their vehicles
- ensure shopping carts are regularly gathered from the parking lot and organized at store entrances
- open boxes to stock, and refill shelves, displays, and end caps with general merchandise items
- follow CAO bread procedures for working and writing bread orders
- build and maintain product displays following store planograms and seasonal guidelines
- bale cardboard regularly and keep backroom clean and organized
- ensure correct signage and pricing is visible and accurate
- keep aisles and display areas clean and hazard-free
- receive online orders, accurately locate items, inspect for damage or freshness, and pack orders
- report unavailable or damaged items and update customers on substitutions
- communicate order progress to management
- assist customers by carrying or escorting their completed orders to vehicles
- cut, prepare, package, label, and price fresh produce
- stock and rotate produce to maintain freshness
- monitor product temperatures and proper storage
- maintain logs of damaged and lost merchandise
- complete price changes and assist with inventory counts
- open, price, and stock floral merchandise while keeping displays attractive
- monitor floral inventory and remove wilted products
- place point-of-sale signs and promotional materials
- support produce department stocking
- operate all standard store equipment safely
- work collaboratively
- perform other related duties as assigned
