This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee rather than McDonald’s USA itself. This franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is an entirely separate company and employer. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and supervision. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience managing high volume restaurant operations
- Ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Commitment to upholding McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- Authorization to work legally in the country
Job Qualifications
- Previous General Manager experience in high volume restaurants
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred
- Experience in hospitality or retail highly valued
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to set strategic goals and implement action plans
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proven ability to coach and develop management teams
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant meeting McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create plans for achievement
- Lead and coach Department Managers by setting goals and monitoring progress
- Improve departmental performance through leadership and management
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
- Ensure a positive, motivated workplace culture
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiencies
