Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent McDonald's franchisee and not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos, trademarks, and food products, but it remains a separate entity with full responsibility for all employment-related matters at the restaurant. This includes hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, supervision, and disciplinary actions. McDonald's USA does not participate in these employment decisions and does not have access to applicants’ personal information submitted during the hiring process. Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have previous general manager experience managing high volume quick service restaurants or similar hospitality/retail businesses
  • demonstrate leadership and team development skills
  • possess strong organizational and planning abilities
  • be capable of hiring and developing managerial staff
  • have commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • ability to work collaboratively with department managers and support staff

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience in high volume quick service restaurants
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • experience in hospitality or retail environments
  • ability to set goals, plan, and execute strategies effectively
  • excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • at least 18 years old
  • understanding of McDonald's quality and service standards

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant meeting McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • lead and coach Department Managers and support their goal setting
  • monitor departmental progress and provide coaching and direction
  • hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • maintain a positive work environment and optimize team performance
  • ensure excellent customer service and operational excellence
