Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a General Manager, preferably in a high-volume, full service and/or polished fast casual restaurant
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • High school education or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Hospitality education such as B.S. in Hospitality Management and/or A.S. Hotel and Restaurant Management is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook is preferred
  • Previous experience working with UltiPro, Toast - POS System, CrunchTime/TeamworX is preferred
  • ServSafe, Allergen and ChokeSaver certifications are preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates complete ownership of the business including total responsibility for the four walls and P&L ownership
  • Models authentic, warm guest experience and is responsible for instilling great service in team
  • Ensures the cafe is optimally staffed with individuals that embody Tatte’s values
  • Demonstrates keen people performance management skills with the ability to identify talent and develop managers and hourly team members
  • Displays skill in leading and navigating hard conversations
  • Continuously upholds Tatte brand and visual standards
  • Leads team members through effective and efficient operational execution
  • Ensures food safety in the cafe
  • Leads all cafe-level change management activities to ensure effective and accurate communication of new product, service and operational information that is able to be acted upon by the team
  • Ensures food, labor and controllable costs stay consistently within guardrails set by the company
  • Oversees all cafe administrative requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
