Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years General Manager experience managing a luxury property with $50M or greater revenue
  • proven track record of developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to attract new business and drive revenue growth
  • strong commercial acumen with proven success in driving revenue
  • success in managing and maintaining Union partnerships
  • ability to build and maintain successful ownership relationships and partnerships
  • extensive experience in Food & Beverage management to ensure high standards of service and operational excellence

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years General Manager experience managing a luxury property with $50M or greater revenue
  • proven track record of developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans
  • strong commercial acumen with proven success in driving revenue
  • experience managing and maintaining Union partnerships
  • ability to build and maintain successful ownership relationships
  • extensive experience in Food & Beverage management
  • experience managing a Forbes 5-Star property (preferred)
  • familiarity with California labor regulations (preferred)
  • deep understanding of the local market (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
  • strategic planning
  • leading service initiatives
  • managing balanced scorecard performance
  • implementing and complying with company policies and standards
  • oversee sales and marketing initiatives
  • lead and develop the executive team
  • respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns
  • participate in and facilitate hotel-wide meetings
  • ensure guest and team member satisfaction
  • monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition and reward
  • recruit, interview and train team members
  • oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and service and financial measurements
  • identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
  • serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities
