Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years general manager experience managing a luxury property with $50M or greater revenue
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience managing and maintaining union partnerships
- Ability to build and maintain ownership relationships
- Extensive experience in food and beverage management

- Strong commercial acumen with proven success in driving revenue
- Success in managing and maintaining union partnerships
- Ability to build and maintain successful ownership relationships and partnerships
- Extensive experience in food and beverage management to ensure high standards of service and operational excellence
- Experience managing a Forbes 5-Star property
- Familiarity with California labor regulations
- Deep understanding of the local market
Job Duties
- Lead, direct and manage all hotel operations including hotel budgeting and forecasting
- Strategic planning
- Leading service initiatives
- Leading and managing balanced scorecard performance
- Implementing and complying with all company policies and standards
- Overseeing sales and marketing initiatives
- Leading and developing the executive team
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving concerns
- Participating in and facilitating hotel-wide meetings
- Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
- Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, professional development, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition and reward
- Recruit, interview and train team members
- Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements
- Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
- Serve as primary liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities
