This job opportunity is offered at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald's USA. This franchisee operates under a license to use the McDonald's logos and food products, providing the well-known menu and customer experience associated with the McDonald's brand. However, it's important to note that the franchisee is a separate company and employer distinct from McDonald's USA. As such, the franchisee independently manages all employment matters including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, and McDonald's USA does not have any control or involvement in these decisions.

Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • previous general manager experience at high-volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants or hospitality or retail preferred
  • strong leadership skills
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • ability to manage teams effectively
  • commitment to maintain high standards of quality and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a general manager in high-volume restaurants
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail management is a plus
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers by setting goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • monitor department performance and implement improvements
  • oversee daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction
  • manage staffing, scheduling, and employee development
