Job Description

This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, which is a separate entity from McDonald's USA. The franchisee owns the license to use McDonald’s branding, logos, products, and trademarked practices but independently manages all aspects related to the employment process within their restaurant. This means the hiring, firing, staff supervision, scheduling, and other employment responsibilities are solely managed by the franchisee rather than McDonald's corporate.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proven management experience running high volume locations
  • Experience in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail highly desired
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong coaching and communication skills
  • Capability to manage restaurant operations and achieve financial targets
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant
  • Experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • Background in hospitality or retail is a plus
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to set and achieve business goals
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant by meeting financial targets
  • Ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • Lead and support Department Managers by helping them set and track departmental goals
  • Provide coaching and direction to Department Managers to improve their teams and operations
  • Hire, develop, and retain Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction
