Job Requirements
- Must reside in the LAX area
- Experience managing large diverse teams preferably 70+ employees
- Ability to lead by example and thrive under pressure
- Excellent organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety
- Open availability including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Proficiency with scheduling reporting and performance tracking software
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership in transportation logistics or a related field experience managing large diverse teams of 70+ employees preferred
- Excellent organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities to engage employees airline partners and executives
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety best practices
- Tech-savvy for scheduling reporting and performance tracking tools
Job Duties
- Directly manage 85-90 drivers across multiple airports creating a collaborative high-performance culture
- Ensure seamless safe on-time crew transportation and solve issues quickly while upholding service standards
- Provide hands-on support with scheduling coaching and performance management to boost service quality and morale
- Enforce DOT regulations and company safety protocols conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles and drivers
- Serve as the primary contact for airline clients proactively addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Review key metrics to identify trends improve operations and communicate performance to senior leadership
