Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from accredited university in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 8 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 6 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Preferred general manager experience in limited or full-service property
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
- Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance in property industry
Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management or related major with 8 years of relevant management experience
- Or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management or related major with 6 years of relevant management experience
- General Manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
- Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis and revenue management
Job Duties
- Develop and execute business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
- Lead and hold property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and professional development
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to generate revenue and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage financial performance including revenue management, budgeting, and expense control
- Oversee employee relations and talent management to foster a cohesive, high-performance team
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, operational, labor, and brand standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, residential Boards of Directors, local community, officials, and customers
