Job Requirements
- minimum five years of experience as a head golf professional or general manager
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- proficient in Microsoft Office and facility-based point-of-sale systems
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to meet physical demands of working outdoors in varying conditions
- capable of bending, stooping, climbing, and working near moving equipment
- occasional exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, or hazardous materials
- meet physical and scheduling requirements of a busy public golf facility
Job Qualifications
- PGA member preferred
- bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum five years of experience as a head golf professional or general manager
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- proficient in Microsoft Office and facility-based point-of-sale systems
- deep understanding of golf course departments and management
- strong financial acumen with budgeting and cost control experience
- skilled at interpreting financial statements and business plan development
- inspiring leadership and excellent communication skills

- effective decision-maker in a dynamic environment
- knowledgeable about golf rules and etiquette
- confident public speaker and community ambassador
Job Duties
- Understand the core pillars of The Patch and proactively drive the business to accomplish the mission
- exemplify Bobby Jones Links' core purpose, values, and service standards
- uphold professionalism and integrity in all interactions
- lead by example to inspire team morale and operational excellence
- recruit, train, supervise, and develop department heads and staff
- conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
- ensure compliance with laws and company policies
- oversee day-to-day operations across departments
- prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting
- monitor financial controls including general ledger coding and cash flow
- lead weekly department meetings
- ensure prompt reporting of incidents and emergencies
- attend and support key events and tournaments
- monitor service standards for golf, food and beverage, events, and course conditions
- maintain updated and engaging website content and communications
- launch innovative programs and events
- promote the facility through community involvement
- coordinate marketing campaigns with the BJL team
- serve as a visible, positive presence in the community
- oversee maintenance and improvements of physical assets
- implement purchasing, inventory, and sanitation protocols
- establish a robust risk management program to ensure safety and security
