Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field
- minimum 5 years of General Manager experience at a large hotel
- proven ability to lead large teams
- demonstrated financial management expertise
- experience with hotel renovation projects
- strong commercial insight
- ability to work with ownership and brand partners
- excellent communication skills
- available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Hotel General Manager
- proven track record managing a large hotel with 500+ rooms and $50M+ annual revenue
- strong financial and commercial acumen
- successful leadership through renovation or capital improvement projects
- experience driving performance across multiple demand segments
- strategic, people-focused leadership skills
- preferred experience with unionized environments
- excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Hilton brand experience preferred
- local market knowledge preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee all hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- lead and motivate a large, diverse team to achieve performance goals
- manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- collaborate with ownership, lenders, and Hilton brand partners on capital projects and renovations
- develop strategies to drive room sales, group business, and food and beverage revenue
- maintain the hotel’s historic legacy while evolving service delivery to meet modern guest expectations
- ensure compliance with brand standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols
