Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field
  • minimum 5 years of General Manager experience at a large hotel
  • proven ability to lead large teams
  • demonstrated financial management expertise
  • experience with hotel renovation projects
  • strong commercial insight
  • ability to work with ownership and brand partners
  • excellent communication skills
  • available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Hotel General Manager
  • proven track record managing a large hotel with 500+ rooms and $50M+ annual revenue
  • strong financial and commercial acumen
  • successful leadership through renovation or capital improvement projects
  • experience driving performance across multiple demand segments
  • strategic, people-focused leadership skills
  • preferred experience with unionized environments
  • excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Hilton brand experience preferred
  • local market knowledge preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • lead and motivate a large, diverse team to achieve performance goals
  • manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
  • collaborate with ownership, lenders, and Hilton brand partners on capital projects and renovations
  • develop strategies to drive room sales, group business, and food and beverage revenue
  • maintain the hotel’s historic legacy while evolving service delivery to meet modern guest expectations
  • ensure compliance with brand standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols
